Description
Ever since the parking pattern on 15th Street was changed to accommodate bicyclists by the creation of bike lanes, there is a major risk of hitting a bicyclist when turning from 15th Street into the alley between Corcoran St. and R Street. This is particularly dangerous in the morning and evening rush hours and on weekends when bike traffic is high.
It is not possible to safely see a bike coming particularly going north on 15th St. when driving a car to enter the alley to our homes.
This could be solved by the city installing mirrors, as is done in parking garages, to see oncoming bikes in this "blind" spot.
