Description

There is a very dangerous situation that needs to be fixed at the intersection of Lombard and Front Streets in Fair Haven just before the Quinnipiac River. In a car accident some months ago the barrier and fence in front of the river at the intersection were damaged; the sign indicating the end of Lombard Street is missing. Someone not familiaar with Front street could easily go into the river.
For safety and aesthetic reasons, the broken rusty fence with unsightly invasive plants and poison ivy along the Quinnipiac River in Dover Beach Park on Front Street also needs to be replaced. It is located between the new fence on the rebuilt seawall and the new fence at the foot of Lombard Street.
