Description
This abandoned house is one of the eyesores of the block. It is abandoned, nobody is living inside the house. The front windows are broken leaving the house exposed and cats are living inside the house. This must be a violation of some sort, it should be boarded up!

Apparently the owner has a building permit until 7/25/12 but they actually haven't even touched the property since I moved in 5 months ago. So they are technically not in violation of any code, they are apparently allowed to leave the broken window as is, not like it wouldn't cost like 20 bucks max to seal it, ridiculous how lazy this owner is!!!

Additionally, no locks are on the front door so anyone can just walk in, this is a danger to the community. I saw a young man check the door, open it ---- I reported this to 911-
Can anything more be done so that the owner invests just a little money <$100 to make this safer?
