The concern about this location being a drug area that is tucked in behind near the intersection of idlewood and mccloy in the woodsy area is a drug pit is a matter that is best suited for the Police Department so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. I'll be honest-- I'm a bit confused by the City's responses to contact a different department. I understand that if it's an emergency, that you would want us to call the police. But what is the point of this online system if when we report something, you tell us to call a tel # and a different department? I've seen that be the response on a lot of reporting on here. I think the citizen filed the report so it would get on someone's radar to maybe have a police patrol check it out or have an investigation.

So to anyone else following this, something needs to be done. There is a family of eagles living up in the tower right above this place, you can see the nest from the road and the mother eagle is obviously distressed and comes flying out upset while people are doing stuff down there. Yesterday I saw a naked woman in her forties and an old man (clothed) staring at me as I walked along the overpass. People walk by with kids and they shouldn't have to have their kids see this. I think they are living down there. Dirty mattresses, junk laying all around. I feel bad for the eagles up above. Maybe they will abandon the nest because of the craziness directly below them? We have so few eagles in va as it is and they are so close to Carytown its a shame these people might mess it up. CITY OF RICHMOND get these people out of there... CLEAN IT UP! If they are needy and homeless get them help. Living in this area does them no good! Don't screw up our eagles!

Based on the description given, we have assigned our Community Assisted Public Safety (CAPS) coordinator to survey the area and cite for all code violations.
