Description
25 MPH speed radar trailer- it does not make sense the placement of the speed radar trailer right before the intersection and the signal lights. It should be placed to warn speeding vehicles blocks before they reach the intersection with the signal lights. Thank you!

My observation:
Speeding goes both ways up and down lower Park Blvd. OPD has no budget for the traffic enforcement - motorcycle units as I understand.
We need more 25 MPH signs posted along lower Park - I have been addressing on that issue ... red tapes.
Also, the city has a plan to "Redesign the Traffic Lanes on the Lower Park Blvd", we are waiting in line, along with the support from the East Bay Bike Coalition. the plan will change the exiting four lanes into two lane, with a turns lane in the middle, and bike paths on both directions. It will have the traffic calming effect and we will make sure it will address the 25 MPH speed limit (ironically - it always has been 25 MPH the whole lower Park).
What we need to do - keep advocating the resigning plan, keep addressing it to our City Council Abel and the city, keep pushing the paperwork...
