Description
The intersection of Merrywood Drive and Florence Terrace is difficult to negotiate. There needs to be traffic calming. Speed signage or stop signs or yield signs are necessary.

Been on this list so long Jim has moved away. I vote plus one to help here. I have had several near misses here in the last month alone.
People coming "up" Merriewood attempt to "turn left" into Florence but it looks almost straight, so they continue without slowing or stopping. People coming down Merriewood can't see the oncoming and left turning traffic leading to near missed and lots of angry drivers.
Please review.

I have to agree with Jim. PATHETIC!
There are near misses here weekly. AND, now people are ignoring the NO PARKING signs and making the intersection even more dangerous by blocking it where it says NO PARKING. If you can't actually address the issue, can you send police or parking enforcement to write some tickets for people who blatantly ignore the signs knowing that you will never write tickets up here? Seems like your missing a revenue opportunity by patrolling the hills with parking enforcement occasionally.

Thanks Jim. I am leaving it open just to see if EVER they respond. I have near misses here once a week or so as people coming up Merriewood Dr (which continues up the hill) make a left onto Florence Terrace without slowing or stopping, and cars coming down Merriewood are not visible to cars on Merriewood.
It is often made worse by people parking in the NO PARKING zone (almost a daily occurrence) because nobody gives tickets EVER for illegal parking in the hills.
Lets leave it open just to irritate at Oakland!
