In the reported area...the condition still exists !! why not set up a trap at the bottom of SAGAMORE HILLS on ROUTE 66 / WASHINGTON STREET....bet you catch over 100 cars doing 70+ MPH...I called the Middletown P.D. and they said that they only have one (1) radar unit , and they come on duty at 4pm. So either the State Troopers handle this or wait for a FATALITY......... i have seen several bad accidents over the years , including one death..............

If they put a squad car in the entrance to Woodgate Condominiums or Sagamore Hills , it would cause the cars and trucks coming down the hill at 80mph to at least slow down to 60mph....(in a 40 mph zone) , since no radar has been set up and fines issued for speeding , the situation , sadly , *STILL*exists

Middletown Police say that they only have one RADAR unit , so I guess this situation will persist until a fatality occurs ( sadly ).

Since my last comment........... BOTH the State Police and Middletown Police have combined to pull over speeder from the top of the hill near Guida's Restaurant down past the reservoir , Red Dog Saloon , Agway......past Woodgate and Sagamore Hills and right down the hill towards the center of Middletown.....the speeds of cars going through this area have decreased DRAMATICALLY !! FINALLY !! Please continue your fine efforts. I KNOW that you are saving lives !!
