Description

There is a city easement between 10019 and 10021 Allison Dr., and between 10019 Allison Dr and 10018 Dunbarton Dr. The City of Huntsvlle has NOT maintained this easement. About ten years ago the city dug a ditch between 10019 Allison and 100018 Dunbarton Dr., and NEVER maintained it. After caling numerous times, NOTHING has been done to keep the ditch clear. Furthermore, it caused erosion problems on my property, which I have somewhat fixed by planting plants all along my back fence (although the City dug so close to my back fence, I could not plant any shrubbery.) My beef is not only the lack of maintenance but the fact there is standing water. I would like the City to immediately come out and spray for mosquitoes, examine the easement for the drainage issues and then formulate a plan of action for resolving the drainage issues. I am saying this short of going to WHNT for action. This area needs YOUR attention. I have recently sprayed the huge growth of poison ivy and trimmed some of the branches and gotten up much debris, but more attention is needed. Hopefully, I can upload several images for you.
