Description

I came to the bus depot transfer station around 11am. The driver of bus #2 directed me to take #8 to go to the Walmart on Memorial north. A bus with the sign #8 came in around 11:45. I checked with the driver if this was the correct bus to Walmart memorial North. She was hurried and told me to get on the bus. About 10 mins later she left and headed south, not north. I told her I wanted to go to the Walmaart North. She said she was taking me there. I said not Memorial south, I want North. She got on her walkie talkie phone and the dispatch told her what I wanted. He said whats your problem (because HER BUS GWAS LABELLED #8(. The nearest transfer point was park place mall. Instead of giving me a transnfer ticket to back north,, the driver kept going many miles south to another mall comples and hospital area onwhitfield. I told her she had ruined my day, I would not be able to shop where I wanted to go near Walmart north and it would save me my afternoon to ride her bus all the wa back north. She insisted I get off. My afternoon was ruined I walked back to my starting point on Governors drive. Something was I error woi with bus service. Either the bus was incorrectly labelled #8 when it should have bewen labelled #5 (going south all the was to Walmart south) or the bus driver was fooling around and go going south on route 5 instead of 8. If Iwanted to get off on Park Pklace transfer point I should have been allowed to with atransfer ticket.uf
