I would like to place a complaint about repairs that needs to be done to the apartment I am currently living at and they have not been taken care of by the landlord in 1 1/2 years.
I have been living at 280 Kearny Ave apt 2 for 3 years, the window in the hallway going up to my apartment broke because of the heavy snow, the landlord replace it with a cardboard, recently that cardboard flew away with the heavy winds we got in the winter time.
Another item I need to point out are the broken windows, one in the bedroom, in the kitchen and one in the dinning room. I can't open those windows because they will fall apart and the glass will break on me. The bedroom windows in the winter time, cold temperatures makes it feel like I am living outdoors. I have asked the landlord via text and verbal many times to fix this and her response is she will do it next month.
The second bedroom in this apartment has water penetrating through the ceiling, leaving yellow marks on it. This is my son's bedroom when he stays with me. In the pictures I am sending you can also see the door paint of the fire exit is chipping off. I have take pictures of all this for you to see. I don't know where else to go to, but I do know that as a rent payer I have rights. I am in the process of moving out this month because of this and also because the landlord is harassing me, I have already opened a police report on this as well as the assault she recently did on me. Please review my report and handle it how you see fit. I tried loading all the pictures I have, when you contact me I will email you everything I have.
