With gas prices spiking up it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for citizens to have a side walk to be safe walking or biking to work or to nearby stores. It is bad enough we don't have public transportation in Southington.

I HAVE NOT HEARD ANY NEWS OR UPDATES...I HOPE SOMETHING CAN BE DONE SOON. GAS PRICES ARE RISING AGAIN AND MANY ARE WITHOUT JOBS. SOUTHINGTON HAS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR PEDESTRIAN TO HAVE A WALKING PATH IN WEST ST. ANYONE HAS ANY NEWS WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?
