Ashton Hall have reported this same problem to NO avail. All of Spring Forest Rd./Lynn Rd. from Falls of Neuse thru and beyond Six Forks is a TOTAL DEATH TRAP; pedestrians are forced to walk in the street (which is xtremely curvaceous w/high speed travel) and drivers in right hand lanes have to SWERVE into left hand traffic to avoid entire limbs hanging into the driving lanes on BOTH sides of Spring Forest Rd./Lynn Rd. The only maintenance of way is where there are private businesses who employ landscapers. Serious bodily injuries and UNAVOIDABLE auto accidents have resulted from this 'overgrown jungle' of city property which remains a public threat to residents and travelers alike in spite of new road paving--even then, the shrubbery was 'pushed back' NOT PRUNED & removed.
I originally reported this to Raleigh Streets, who 4warded to Parks who 4warded it to RIGHT OF WAY over 6 months ago.
