19 Lincoln Ave at the corner of George Street has bushes which are never maintained and have grown into the sidewalk blocking it from use. This is has been reported before and the property owner should be taking care of this on a regular basis or remove the bushes if they wont maintain them.

I request to reopen this issue and for someone in the City to specify what "has been addressed" means? I am attaching pictures taken within the past 30 minutes on my walk home. The vegetation encroachment onto the public way is worse now than a month ago when this issue was first reported.
Closing this issues without satisfactory results erodes trust that this platform is an effective way to achieve results for issues reported.
In my mind the issue is "Addressed" when the property owner/manager is held accountable in a way that results in the complete removal of vegetation that is encroaching the pedestrian right of way. We all deserve a clear path on a public way.
Perhaps someone can provide via this forum further information regarding expectations as it relates to Somerville City Ordinance: Sec. 9-56. - Vegetation and wood on private property.
Is this property manager being fined every single day that no action has been completed to clear the path? Obviously $100 one off fines are not working.

Every summer and winter this property has been "Addressed" or "Acknowledged". What is actually being done? What is the work order? Fines? How much? have they been paid? Who owns this property? I have heard that it is in foreclosure.
Crazy part is that there are kids living there...

The house address is actually 20 George Street. It was last sold in 2010, looking like a foreclosure.

So Fannie Mae has hired Cieran Brosnan (http://www.brosnanrealty.com/) as the caretaker and listing agent for this property. Apparently it is their responsibility to maintain the property. Made a phone call and they have been aware of the issue and have been trying (really hard) to get someone out there to clean it up. nobody would say how much they have been fined.
