Q>.
What are the required conditions for placing an accessory structure in the required side yard setback area?
A>!
• There is a solid, visually impenetrable fence or wall.
• Structure does not exceed six feet or height of the existing adjacent fence - whichever is less.
• A 36-inch passage either between the structure and the main dwelling or between the accessory structure and the adjacent fence.
• The total roof area of all accessory structures does not occupy more than 120 sq. ft. of the area contained within each required side yard.

Mr. Bond - thank you for the commentary. I am well aware of the code so you don't need to add that into this forum. As a note, there is an active building permit at this location. Will check the site and see if the use of the container is tied into the permit. Thanks
It looks like the Garage ,Studio or in-law unit is all finished except they can't live in it, so if the container was to store stuff while the garage is been built then it's time to do so,
Sometime Building permits never closed , this should not be permission to keep the container on site .
The owner is house painter , I don't think he got a " home occupation permit" :
• There shall be no goods, samples, materials or objects sold, stored or displayed on the premises in connection with the operation of any home occupation. This condition is not intended to prohibit the temporary interior storage of materials used in the operation of the home occupation so long as such storage does not create a health or safety problem or a neighborhood nuisance.
In fear of retaliation by you, I will not be contacting you by telephone .
This case should not be closed if the the issue is not resolved yet .
I think I have covered everything about this violation .
Please note , I have posted (open case) over 30 days ago , about traffic sign needs TLC ,, Rudgear rd +youngs ct. No response on this yet from the city . Case still open
