Description
Cars routinely sit in the crosswalk while waiting at this red light. There's a no turn on red sign, but it's small and awkwardly located so I think they miss it. If they saw it, they'd know they have to wait behind the crosswalk until the light turns green (not creep up to the intersection to see if it's safe to turn). As a result, it's difficult to cross this street, particularly when if you're pushing a stroller or you're in a wheelchair and you need to use the curb cut. The drivers are 100% at fault but I wonder if better signage could address the problem.

Thank you for the post. The Sign Division will be dispatched to check the location of the No Turn On Red sign.

We have never had this problem when walking or down that side of State Street past Audubon; but maybe a sign out in front of them, overhead, will help.

perhaps "stop here to trigger signal" would be better, since "no turn on red" is widely ignored city-wide.
