I was alerted to a May 5 posting made by a Jane Jacobs to remove a beautiful, century-old tree that is well on my private property for UI wire and tree maintenance. I have spoken to both Lewis Tree and Chirsty Hass, the Tree Warden, and have been assured this tree will only be trimmed when they make their UI rounds starting next week. I am posting this to ensure that Ms. Jacobs and all involved understand that this tree is not interfering w/ the wires, and should only be trimmed, per usual. The removal of this shade tree would devalue an already under-priced home, and cause cooling bills to skyrocket. The amount of trees being removed on behalf of UI this year is more than usual, I have noticed. Thank you.
