As odious as the chore may be, if you put up a sign, you should remove it after the sale. If you have another upcoming sale, re-post a new sign. Citizens should not have to endure one's personal marketing posters for weeks on end - especially when they are nailed to every other pole in the neighborhood. What if the person had listed sale dates through the next month - say July 20th, would that be okay too? Just have to point that out.
