Description

Jack McKeon, 142 Cedar Lane, Torrington. Ct. 06790 (860) 480-4439 We have lived on Cedar Lane for 33 years, and speeding on this narrow road, which is used by many people, to bypass Rt202 & RT 183 Intersection, by traveling, North West,on Cedar Lane from, Rt 202 to Rt 183 and then unto Greenwoods Avenue, to Rt 8, and/or Pinewoods Road to the industrial Park,Old Rt 8, and/or Burr Pond & Lakeridge. About 15 years ago, my neighbors, and I petitioned The Torrington City Council, and the Board of Public Safety to enforce the 25 M.P.H. speed limit on Cedar Lane, and to post signage of that speed limit. Over the past 15 years, there has been little, or no enforcement, of this speed limit, to the detriment of myself, my family, and my neighbors on Cedar Lane and Colin Drive's safety I respectfully request that some effort be made to enforce the 25M.P.H. speed limit and to replace/enhance the speed limit signage. Thanks you for your consideration and cooperation. Best Wishes Jack McKeon
