This lot belongs to the Cithy of New Haven, part of the Strong School property.

If that's a school property, that is horribly disgusting and a danger to children.

The lot was cleaned within two days of the initial complaint but there needs to be regular monitoring or additional trash cans. Some people just don't care and continue to dump here

Some fo the neighbors DO regular cleaning of the grass swath- regularly finding used drug items, dirty diapers, empty beer cans and botrtles, fast food take-out remains,etc. The neighbors are NOT responsible for this property or its maintanence. The users and abusers of the parking lot do not live here. The Board of Education is responsible for the lot and does nothing. There is not even one garbage recepticle. in the lot.

Why is no one responding to this? It IS a city property- part of the Strong School which is part of the c/ity of New Haven. Sigh. There are many problems concerning this property, however- it needs to be maintained.
