Description

Have spent $20,000.00 on legal fees in my attempts to hold the seller of my home to me responsible in a non disclosure law suit. Is it fair that the defendants in my law suit can solicit a lawyer who has been paid and is presently being paid tens of thousands of dollars by the City of P.A. to represent the City in enforcing such bylaws The solicitor representing the defendants in my non disclosure law suit was and is being paid a fair chunk of City monies to represent the City of P.A. in enforcing their bylaws in the tearing down of the Minto Apts. My concern is how can a solicitor collect tens of thousands of dollars from the City to enforce and make property owners responsible for the condition of their property in maintaining minimal bylaws in keeping a property safe and then use the knowledge aquired in the research that they have been paid to represent the City in such a case , then at the same time represent individuals who are accused of breaching these bylaws. Could the City next time in going outside of the present administration tender the legal services out in such a manner that restricts the solicitor who has been hired in to assist the present city solicitor in enforcing City Bylaws include a contract that prevents them from representing such individuals who are breaching the very bylaws they are presently being paid for by the City to enforce.
