Since the end of May, I have reported and tried to get the city to clean up the remaining gravel, sand, and pebbles after the milling and paving of Glen Eden Quay, its sidestreets and cul-de-sacs, and two cul-de-sacs on Upper Hastings. The city and the contractor seem to be satisfied with the work they have already performed. My running commentary with the city can be found at:
www.seeclickfix.com/issues/1677828
Attached are photos of my issue. These photos are just a snapshot of all the streets reported.
Some photos show the aggregate along the curbs, some in residents yards, and some of the loose gravel that became embedded in the new asphalt.
I have requested several times to have a street sweeper perform a final clean up. Now that the crape mrytle blossums, grass clippings, and other debris are on the streets, a clean up will be more difficult.
Your review of this matter is greatly appreciated.
