Description
I KEEP GETTING REMINDERS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. 311 CONTACTED THE PROPERTY MANAGER ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND OTHER DANGEROUS CONDITIONS REPORTED BEHIND THE PROPERTY - MANAGEMENT HAS DONE NOTHING THE TRASH IS WORSE NOW.
The area behind the parking lot at Frankford Terrace apartments has turned into a trash dump and has made access to the garages belonging to the Homeowners on Craig Street unaccessible. The trash and broken glass makes the area unsafe to enter. The end of the parking lot used to be blocked off with a fence, the fence broke, or was removed, and it was never replaced. Vandals from the apartment building now have easy access to the back of our property. We would like to driveway behind the apartment building completely cleaned out and the fence put back up.

I did contact 311 and clip. They say they "notified management to rectify the problem." management does nothing. there are large openings behind property, they look like wells but i think they are for gas or sewer lines, the metal grates were stolen and they are now completely wide open. It is unsafe and no one follows up with this management company. They are total scumbags and they do not care one bit about their residents or the neighbors near the apt building. Otherwise they would not have trash everywhere and they certainly wouldn't have dangerous wide open holes behind their buildings.

well there has been a gigantic pile of concrete blocking a garage and that has been there for months, we cleaned up the back area about two months ago. I try not to go out there b/c it's just dangerous. It's mostly trash from the apartments that no one cares to actually throw out. The Apartment Building is supposed to have a fence at the end of their parking lot, they removed the old fence and never put a new one back up. If the fence was up as it should be the trash would not be back in this area. I haven't noticed any dumping of old carpeting in a while but I also haven't gone back there.

The neighbors in the area are trying to find paperwork either with L&I/Zoning about when the apartments were originally built. We really want that fence back-up that was at the end of their driveway. People & kids go behind the apartments constantly and it's not for anything legal or safe. Properties are vandalized constantly and the kids play around unsafe conditions. A neighbor that has owned his home since before the apartments were built said the fence was required so we are looking into it. Any ideas you can suggest would be great.
