This is a dangerous area for pedestrians. I have seen trucks making a right onto E. Rockaway Rd from Broadway have rear wheels go right over curb and onto sidewalk. With a large number of Hewlett HS students using this as part of their path to and from school, this should be an intersection with better safety, and should probably be made into a School Zone.
