Description

Pigeon Hill Road is a key bicycling gateway to companies on Marshall Phelps Road and Addison. Numerous potholes force cyclists away from the edge of the road. Piles of broken asphalt are an added hazard. As an extension from Pleasant St. Addition of a few speed humps during reconstruction would reduce the "fear factor" during rush hours

A. worst area is the hill near Poquonock Ave
Q. Approximately how large is the pothole?
A. twice the size of a cracked bike helmet. there are about 20.
Q. Is it in the travel portion of the roadway impeding traffic?
A. along the edges -worst position for bikers.
