I agree, this is a deteriorating area and is one frequented by children and bicycle riders. It's gradually becoming more dangerous and needs to be repaired.

This section of trail surfacing/shoulder protection has been redesigned. A construction bid is scheduled to be advertised on March 26. The trail through Rothgeb Park will be repaired this summer.

We have done a few remedial repairs to try to make this section as safe as possible while it awaits a more permanent repair.
