Description

The bus didn't want to wait in the outside turning lane (more cars in that lane) on East Capitol that goes around Lincoln Park so when the light turned green the driver (who was in the inside lane right next to Lincoln Park) knew they had to turn right onto East Capitol St, so as we made our turn (left) around Lincoln Park the driver pushed me out of my lane (which goes straight on 11th) and the bus was left at an angle leaving the back end out blocking other lanes that are meant to go around Lincoln Park. I was going straight and in the correct lane. The bus driver was in the wrong lane and cut through 3 lanes to make the turn onto East Capitol. The lane the bus driver was in at that stoplight continues around the park. It does not go straight up 11th not turn onto East Capitol so why would a bus driver be 3 lanes away from where it needed to go right immediately after the left turn? I'm glad I had good brakes! This driver clearly has no regard for children on the bus nor other drivers. I couldn't get my phone out fast enough to take a picture of the bus sitting at an angle cutting me off. So the pic you see is after we started moving again.
