Description
There is a blue Volvo parked halfway down Hine Place. It has been there for at least a year. Parking is scarce as it is and this car is not even parked well. I called the NHPD and they did nothing.
There are also a couple of residents that leave several cones out to reserve spots in front of their houses. Between the cones and the Volvo they take up four spots in a row on the street.
On top of it...I have a "Visitor" pass and can't get a resident pass even though I am a leaseholder in Zone 3. I am afraid to stir up trouble here because I don't want to start getting tickets because I am drawing attention to the street where I often park. The visitor pass says you are only allowed to park for a total of ten days. What am I to do though. I have a year lease??
Also, patrons of the local businesses park on Hine Pl all the time, without Zone 3 passes.

Hello,
We own the Volvo. It has not on the street for a year nor always on the street as you claim. For much of the last six months it has been parked in front of a garage on Hine Place as well as on the street. Your claim above from today states the car is on the street yet it has been in front of a garage on the opposite side of the street since Sunday night when they cleaned the street. Maybe you should get your facts right! If you have a complaint with the police or with the parking authority have them call me -- the taxes are paid on the car and it is a legitimate vehicle. Your complaint is exaggerated (hence irresponsible) and you should be careful about making such claims Mr. or Mrs. anonymous. The car will be disposed of soon so their should be more space on Hine Place (althought it will probably be replaced by another car). That car has been parked on the street here on and off since 1989! I don't remember you trying to contact us the owners. That might have been useful. I agree the parking on Hine Place is difficult and have been dealing with it for decades. We have the same parking problem as you, and have been working on it for years. We always try to keep one car off the street to help. To further improving the the neighborhood it would help if you were accurate.
