Why is it the city consistently closes these items before they have been addressed??

This is a clear case of waste, in that the city line painting crew did not have the street swept before wasting the time and money to paint stripes over sand and debris.

Take a little time and do the job correctly, these are our tax dollars being wasted.

There is so much sand on Westbrook you could open a playground. The sand acts as an abrasive when being ground under the tires of our vehicles and has completely worn away the stripes down near the Hermitage Road end.
