Description

Johns' refuse is illegally picking up trash and creating a lot of noise on Thursday mornings - every week - between 4 and 4:30 am every morning. Can someone please get them to comply with the law?

This company shows NO CONCERN every Wednesday afternoon when their trucks drive 60 mph or MORE on Middletown avenue in New Haven! They actually beep at you for not moving over in a one-lane road and the speed limit here is 35mpg!!!

This is still occurring on Mondays and Wednesdays in downtown as well (Church & Wall St.) Truck backup alarms at 4AM-430AM along with the slamming of dumpsters around. I see this issue was originally opened in May, it's been acknowledged, yet it's now September and the company is still doing this.

We are closing older Trash and Recycling issues in order to focus on current ones. Many of the issues reported were resolved by our routine Trash and Recycling Services. Some of the older Trash and Recycling issues were ordinance violations which were responded to by warnings and tickets. If your particular Trash and Recycling issue was not resolved, please open up a new 2019 issue. Thanks.
