Becasue the POLE is NOT fixed. This has nothing to do with potholes.

Now there are hanging wire too. Don't think the caution tape is going to help much

If there are wires hanging, call 911 and report it, that's one of the fastest ways to have it brought to the attention of those responceable, peco/comcast doesn't monitor this site, that I am sure of

COMCAST does not own poles. They rent space from the power or phone company. DO NOT CALL 911. It is NOT an emergency. You call the owner of the pole. Look at the numbers and it will say above who owns the pole. Then you take the pole numbers and CALL THE OWNER and report it.

Yea since all poles have owner I'd tags and any schmuck knows which wires are electric/phone/cable/ fiber optic, I dunno bout you but I won't take the risk and cofuse them, to me they are all dangerous and I wouldnt want my kids near any of them! You wanna jerk around with them that's fine, but wires on the ground keeps me away from the pole and anything near it! I'm not about to light up my life!

CALL THE OWNER OF THE POLE

The caution tape should clue you in that someone already knows about it. They are too lazy to fix this.

So tell me how do you know the owner of the pole? I also hope that this would apply to all similiar "poles" since there is many that need attention. Obviously this particualr pole has been addressed, hence the tape, but what about next time, what about the next time wires are laying on the ground. As I stated, I will not risk my life to read a pole owners card, there are trained professionals who KNOW the PROPER procedures for these situations. Thanks
