The falling mud and debris is getting worse. The problem of this debris buildup is from the eucalyptus tree falling bark and leaves and lack of property lot cleanup (as required by fire protection code) and blowing leaves and dried weeds up against the fence.

My wife saw a person who did not have a City truck remove the fence.

The fallen rocks on the street create a dangerous driving condition. I noticed fallen rocks even before last night's rain. The mud will clog the drains and cause potential flooding. The fence needs to be put up ASAP. The debris needs to be removed often. Most of the debris mess is caused by the eucalyptus trees, which should be removed. We all know these trees are basically fuel.

The City has done a good job working in this area. Much of the debris has been removed. However, the job is not finished. We are waiting for the tarp to be removed and the fence restored.

I saw done surveyors working there.

This could be surveying the hill side movement as they prepare for "recontouring the hill". If so, it would surely remove all the head-high fire debris weeds and may thin the Eucs.-- hopeful thinking.

I just saw someone from the City. He was measuring the depth of the soil. Engineering work continues.

We are about to come to the rainy season. The fence needs to be restored and the area made safe to protect us from slides.
