Description
I witnessed garbage truck number 512 with 2 men
yelling, swearing and threatening my neighbors. All because they didn't want to finish the collection of recycling. The neighborhood asked them to please stop the truck as they were leaving our street. The guy in the back ignored them and told them to talk to the driver. They spoke to the driver who lied and said he couldn't get by. Then the driver got aggressive and started swearing and yelling what are you going to do about it. Which obviously escalates the situation. Now the neighborhood is out and the driver has lost complete control. Screaming and yelling. He then ramped up the truck so no one could hear anything. We all feared him and ask everyone what do you want to do about it. Fight he said. We told him to finish the street and go away or he can stay and we will call the police. Not our normal trash men who are very cordial and nice.

Thank you for making us aware of this situation. I apologize you had this issue with the hauler. I have spoken to JRM on this matter. In the future if you are in fear or threatened I would suggest to immediately call the Malden Police Department at 781-397-7171.
