Today TWO different cars about 10 minutes apart avoided the intersection of Olive at Chapel during rush hour by barreling down Court Street THE WRONG WAY. Court Street is a popular street for people on bicycles, on foot -- a kindergarten class is led down Court and a little later back again twice a day during the week. In other words, this behavior of driving the wrong way down Court is criminal and we urge the New Haven Police Department to spend some time on a Friday rush hour -- on the Academy Street end of court -- keeping watch and writing tickets.
