Back in November construction on my street began. They dug up the street and just "patched" the areas and left pot holes everywhere. Winter came snow came and instead of actually removing snow, this town just kind of shoves it to the side where cars are parked. I still usually do not complain as I have been living here over 25 years. But this year snow melting and freezing back into ice in this street caused me to fall and break my ankle. Still I did not complain as mad as I was. Then today a cop told me, "move your car you cannot park on this block go park on another block." To which I replied, " my leg is broken I can't walk far" the officer then said, " move your car to another block before I tow it." What an @#$% I thought to myself but okay let me move my car maybe they will finally pave my street. WRONG!! THEY JUST LEFT IT WORSE THAN BEFORE. Rocks all over the steet, uneven curbs. I honestly loved Kearny I grew up here but now I understand why so many are fleeing.
