Thank you for contacting the Property Maintenance Code Enforcement Division for the City of Richmond. Based on the information you provided we have assigned an Environmental Coordinator to go to the location and inspect the property for any and all code violations.
Thank you for bringing this concern to the City of Richmond, Department of Planning and Development Review, however, when the Property Maintenance Code Enforcement Inspector visited the property 4/30/2015, it was determined that there are no active code violations found on this property at this time. The Inspector will continue to monitor the situation in the future.
No action was taken to clear up the ditch or deal with the dangerous tree. This property has been abandoned many years. Leaving notices on the door accomplishes nothing.
The inspector determined that the wrong location was cited. The violation has been recorded at 5256 Stratton Rd and the inspector is actively working the case. The SCF issue associated with 5255 Stratton Rd will be closed because no violation was observed at that property. For further information, please contact us at 804-646-6398 and reference ticket ce#20020974674. Thank you.
That is unacceptable, this tree is dangerous and needs to be taken care of. A giant limb fell nearly missing my car in my driveway and there is still more of the tree to come down. The tree needs to come down before it damages our property.
