In rear parking lot of Portland Pie, former Atlantic Market, last evening pulled in to space-companion following me and I pulled up and over an existing what appears to have been a tree pit surrounded by granite curbing. Tree missing -no sign that the curbing is there and I went onto of it with my car and damaged it In the darkness this can not be seen and this abutment should be removed and in meantime put up a sign or something alerting drivers of this hazard. Resident said many people had done the same thing...stupid and dangerous, immediate attention to this should be done--it should be removed or at least put something into tree pit alerting drivers of the danger. Notice pics-chuck of granite out of it- no doubt hit.
