Is there a way, without damaging the actual tree, can the tree be trimmed of the hanging branch as shown in the picture. Ever since Sandy, this branch is slowly creeping down until it is almost touching the parked cars in that lot. Probably with next major storm, this branch will break off - better to take care of it now before that happens and damages the tree. Would hate to lose it since it's a beautiful, old tree.
