Description

Traffic signal is set to cycle the North Bound Traffic on Whitney Avenue at East Rock Rd. green to red at least twice (at slightly long but normal intervals) while leaving the Southbound light green and the cross street red. This only encourages high speed traffic on Whitney and makes the light pointless. You could normally cross the street several times without any cars nearby in the time it takes for the light to go green for E. Rock Rd.
