Description
This is an area of potholes as are additional ones in the middle of Hubinger between Elm and West Park. Also near Hubinger on Elm. The street is merely a memory now.
You have sent pothole fillers to fix them, but as I saw, they merely dumped loose asphalt on the street and moved on. All the loose asphalt left the holes within a few days and has made the streets a further mess.
Either get someone there to do the job right and pave the street or tell me that you have given up. Maybe I need to raise money from the neighborhood to pave the street.
You just can't do this job without paying attention and caring.

Yes, some work has been done in the area. However, as I hope you appreciated, the road is still very deteriorated. I hope that you work includes repaving of the area as well on Elm near Hubinger.
So far an OK start. Still work to go. When will the additional work be done? Every winter the road becomes worse.

The intersection between Hubinger and West Park is still unpaved. There are holes, gravel, stones everywhere. It is dangerous. Some superficial patching was done months ago, but it all has washed away. It is dangerous walking and on a bike. A large stone can be sent flying and hit someone at any time.
I saw the patching when it was done. The workers were indifferent to the real state of the road. Some patch was thrown down and they drove away.
I am hopeful that some day this will be repaired. Superficial patching will not help.

I personally spoke to the Alder Marchand who told me he would look at and into it. Nothing has happened.
This SeeClickFix should remove the Fix part of its name. The city may work on it within the next 10 years or not when it wants to. The only way it will get done is if someone of power or perceived power tells the street department to do it. Otherwise, forget it.

Some asphalt patch used. But rocks and pebbles everywhere as well as unfilled holes. I cross this location everyday. I do my best to walk around it so I don't fall. Cars still go over the bumpy mess. There a big stones everywhere.
Please repave it and not throw more useless patch there.

It's been more than 2 1/2 years and it's still a mess. Maybe the person who reads this is different than those in the past.
I will again inform A. Marchand about this. I have told him about it for at least 3 years.
Keep this open.

I have indeed followed this issue for many months now, and have advocated for Hubinger, especially this intersection, to be repaved. I agree that the temporary patch work quickly falls apart and that this section of road is failing. It will require a complete mill and pave.
I have reached out to DPW again to see about getting this work done. Stay tuned.

I am hoping I will live long enough before you fix this. My health is deteriorating faster than the street is being repaired. So who knows what will happen first. My life expectancy is more that 15 years.
Please tell me if I can wait long enough.

Hello everyone,
The 2018 paving season is just a few months away. In a few weeks, alders will be asked to submit their list of streets requested to be paved. As I did last year, I will put Hubinger on my list. I agree that the street, especially the stretch near the intersection with West Park, is in bad shape. I don't think mere patches will fix that area. It needs a mill and pave.
Stay tuned.
Best, Adam.

As some may note I have been writing about these potholes now since April 2015. Not much has been done and the situation is deteriorating. West Park Avenue is now falling apart. I know specifically when our prior mayor took a personal interest in repaving the street in 2004. So it is now 14 years and the street is worse that I ever remember it. I have been on the street for almost 40 years.
So my guess is that SeeClick will be out of business before there is any repaving. Then the complaints will end. Forget about expecting any help from any elected representative.
So don't ever "close this issue".

Hello everyone,
Hubinger from Eldert to West Park was selected for a complete mill and pave this fall. The street has already been milled, and in the next week or two will be paved.
Best regards, Adam.

Hubinger from Eldert to West Park has been paved. I stopped by there yesterday as work crews were completing the paving. I'm so glad that residents raised this issue and that I put the street on the list. It took longer than I had wanted to get it done, but now it's done!

I have seen the newly paved road. That is fine.
However, the next step is to repave West Park Avenue. It is crumbling in places. It is used often by many, many cars.
