I hear ya I was going to send in a message about lawn waste put out yesterday (Sunday) on Blomerth St for a pick up maybe next Saturday, depending on yard waste pick up schedule. I did not because when you report these issues residents do get special trash service!!

I am guilty of putting yard waste more than 24 hours of pickup time.

original poster here...i WISH it was only 24 hours! their bag went out yesterday (monday) - regular trash day is friday - saturday this week due to holiday. curious...is there a fine for this & how well is it enforced? malden could make a TON of money on these folks.

I agree with you 100% when it comes to trash.

Section 9.28.C.5 states "No waste shall be placed at the curb prior to 9 p.m. on the day before collection. Non-disposable receptacles shall be returned to their storage space by owners no later than midnight on the day of collection.

1st offense is a warning plus cost of disposal,
2nd offense is $50 plus cost
3rd offense is $100 plus cost

The blue bag of trash has been tagged with a violation sticker and put back on the property. The sticker has education for the home owner.
