Thanks to an alert and thoughtful neighbor on Dixwell Avenue who befriended a wayward pup, calling the phone number on his ID tag and keeping him in his apartment until we could get there, Jindo returned home safe and sound after spending thirty hours exploring on his own. Thanks to all those who posted flyers and spread word on the Web, especially those at the Yale and New Haven Police Departments and the many animal-loving neighbors met for the first time while searching for him. Having lived here for nearly forty years, it is heartening to be reminded what a kind and loving city New Haven is.
