I just want to support the idea that since this tool has been made available many of us monitor the issues and actually go and physically look to see what progress is being made. Things that look shabby in the neighborhoods detract from the City as a whole. We do not want another Detroit here is Huntsville. I lived in the Detroit area for many years and not taking care of the blighted area spiraled the city to an awful situation. We don't want to have it happen here.

Huntsville Connect Customer Service assigned this issue to Huntsville Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services will dispatch a technician to investigate.

This issue was resolved in April (The cable was removed.).

The issue was closed and resolved. Well a member of our neighborhood is still looking at the cable. I will check it out this afternoon. If the cable is still hanging you will be hearing from me again. Maybe someone from the Mayor's Office ought to make random checks on these issues. The cable and telephone companies need to start taking the time remove unnecessary cable and be part of the solution in keeping Huntsville a clean and pleasing to the eye city.
