There's a street light (pole #1) on Manomet St. that is not working properly. It shuts off for about 10 mins and comes back on for about 5 mins. This goes on like this all night. Because of this problem there have been quite a bit of auto break-ins...including my vehicle. Someone actually tried stealing my muffler. My neighbors car was broken into last week while parked in his drive way which is next to the dysfunctional light. There are only two light poles on Manomet Street. The one that needs repair is pole #1 and is located closest to Lakewood Street.

@worcesterfixit...the vehicle break ins are around Manomet St, Lakewood St, Ball St and surrounding areas where vehicles are parked in dark places.

No the issue has "not" been fixed and it's getting worse. It stays off longer than it used to which makes our street a target for more theft. About a month ago my neighbors car was broken into again; they stole money, CDs, car radio and spare keys to his house and motor cycle. He and his wife just had a baby so he had to change all the locks that day. The dysfunctional street light is right on the edge of his driveway and about 50 feet away from my landlords handicap parking spot that they hardly use because they have a hard time seeing where they are walking when they come home at night. This is getting ridiculous!!! I reported this back in February and here we are 6 months later with no results. Come on Worcester...don't let me down.
