Description
Wonder when the last time someone came thru and swept the streets on Indian River turning onto Military Hwy going towards the 264 overpass. There is so much debris in the gutter and at the intersections. Mainly sand and debris from not getting street swept regularly. Funny you would not see that on shore drive or at the oceanfront etc.

Public Works staff investigated. Indian River Road and Military Highway are both streets that are on the arterial or main roadway sweeping schedule. The cycle for sweeping main roadways is approximately every 12 months, given the limited number of street sweepers. This area is scheduled to be swept within the next three to four weeks, weather permitting.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
