Description

There is a cluster of large pot holes on route 82 between Wilson road and Newark road on a blind hill. The potholes have been there for two months now. They are really deep and wide. The close proximity to each other make it worse. Penndot states to not want driver to swerve to avoid the holes, but if you don't then you will be one of the many I've seen either changing a tire shortly after the holes or getting towed. The suspension and damage to vehicles has to be overwhelming. I just experience an issue to my car last week. Drivers who try to avoid the potholes, swerve in the Northbound lane without the ability to see oncoming traffic. Lots of close calls that I have witnessed.
I've called the borough ( who are not responsible), 1800FIXROAD (they only notify the borough & don't even ask where or your #), and the Penndot Chester Cty "emergency" road repair multiple times. The emergency number is a joke. I've spoken to people, left contact info, no calls back, nothing is done. Penndot needs to fix the problem on state route 82 before someone is hurt or killed.
I would love to show an image but being in that area is too dangerous.
