One time I tried to use roller skates on Jackson street. If you take a look at the block you can see how cartoonish that is to imagine. To the city's credit, they filled a few potholes in the last 6 months. But this street needs a lot more love. Personally, I don't mind the potholes so much, because I think they are the only things that keep drivers from slowing down. But yes, they are dangerous, and hard on my bike's tires.

I see I originally made this comment 13 months ago. (In 2013, that seems appropriate). NOTHING has been done! In my own Adams Point neighborhood, the road deterioration is appallingly bad on several blocks. The mayor should be exceptionally embarrassed.
