Description

There are so many pot holes that fill with a river of water when it rains that the name of the road should be road lake not lake road! Town fixes the holes but not the drainage so road has popped up once again. Even the highway workers are fed up with being told to do the job wrong another year. Huge new homes built up hill from here have wrecked everyone's basements by sending thousands of gallons of water at us with no drain being put in to carry it past our homes. A small catch basin was put in when people complained-nobody did the math to determine what was needed per inch of rain so it fills as soon as it starts to rain and has no drain pipe to carry the water away! Vernal pools that held some water back were filled to make septic fields for the new homes. The town collects the taxes on the big new homes then lets their runoff get dumped on us and our community drinking water well.
