The Waterford Police need to have a car (or two) watching out for the children walking to Mason Middle School.

They also need to start making motorists follow the rules of the road in this area, for the safety of our children !!

Three weeks ago, a driver RAN the RED light, FLOORED it when the light turned yellow even though they were several hundred yards away! It narrowly missed the first vehicle turning onto Dill Dr. and plowed into the second, injuring two children! The drivers excuse, "Well, I just live right over there" pointing just past the school! There are also several parents (and a few teachers) that feel the "ONE WAY" and "RIGHT TURN ONLY" signs at the parking lot exit are only suggestions. The police could have a field day writing tickets each and every morning.

Does a death need to occur before something is done?
