The lights at this intersection do not properly serve the needs of the community. The left hand turn signal heading east from 42nd is always too short for the number of cars in line, and there are rarely cars headed west that are waiting. I think that turn signal should be eliminated completely. Cars can turn on green after the cars headed west go through. Much more efficient.
I hope the City can take a look at the traffic patterns here and make some serious improvements.
