I don't see why being old means it should be closed. Has it been fixed or not?

2 years old report, closing.

The pothole is still there.

The problem with older issues here that have to attention by the reporter or follow are forgotten about.

@Patriot... yah, the problem is issues not being fixed, not them being old, not only do we pay for the pleasure of having these issues be fixed, promptly, without having to report them (road,property,gas, etc. tax), but now we also expected to report them and keep them current? WTF do we spend money on the people responsible for taking care of this as their JOB for? stop closing old reports unless you have evidence of them being fixed. you are not helping

I'm the original reporter. Not tech savvy. Issue was resolved three years ago. I tried to close over and over but until today never was successful.
